We work closely with our community partners to develop and implement interventions to strengthen family relationships across generations. Our interventions are designed within a public health framework; they are brief, preventive, and cost-effective so that if they are demonstrated to be effective, they can be affordably implemented after the project. These studies are developed within a community-based participatory research framework to ensure that they meet the needs of the Hong Kong people and contribute to building community capacity for generating evidence. All studies are designed with the highest level of scientific rigor, using randomized controlled trials.
