This study aims to strengthen family relationships and enhance family’s happiness and harmony through children’s transition from kindergarten to primary school education. The specific objectives of the project are to increase parents’ knowledge of positive parenting in order to help their child’s adjustment to the primary school education; to increase children’s and parents’ knowledge to prepare for the new education mode; and to enhance the child’s positive attitudes and behaviors in school. The study has collected views from those core persons involved in children’s transition from kindergarten to primary school. They include parents of kindergarten and primary school children, children who in primary one and teachers at both kindergartens and primary schools.
