Happy Family Kitchen I & II Projects

In collaboration with The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Happy Family Kitchen Projects aim at mobilizing families to make good use of dinning and cooking time to develop positive family communication and to strengthen family members’ inter-relationships, so as to promote FAMILY 3Hs (Health, Happiness and Harmony). The Happy Family Kitchen Projects are developed based on positive psychology, and clinical psychologists design the Five-Taste Model of Positive Communication to encourage happy family dining. The projects attract various social service units, schools and governmental departments to participate; they organize an array of family programmes to promote the Happy Family Kitchen message at homes. Happy Family Kitchen Project I has been successfully implemented in Yuen Long, and Happy Family Kitchen Project II in Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing, serving thousands of families in the districts.
